Our mission is to unite the University Heights community in advocating for resident priorities through collaboration, engagement, education, and policy change.
Keep the Pressure on the Board of Education!
Thank you to everyone who came out to support the AVRP Site Plan at the San Diego Unified School District's community listening session on April 28 about redevelopment of the Brucker site at 4100 Normal Street.
According to the District, 150 people attended this session, and over 100 of these submitted signed posters to the District in support of the AVRP Site Plan. The plan includes the following:
While the turnout at the April 28th session was an excellent start, we need the community to keep the pressure on the elected members of the San Diego Unified School District Board of Education.

These include preservation and rehabilitation of Annexes 1 and 2 and preservation of the two large heritage trees--the oak tree in front of Annex 3, and the ficus at the corner of Normal Street and Campus Avenue.
Please pick up a packet of 5 postcards for yourself and your family members and neighbors from Pemberley Realty, 4645 Park Blvd., Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. and:
Thank you for your support!
